Fall Arts Courses at CHICAT
The Chicago Center for Arts & Technology (CHICAT) strives to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of students by offering innovative educational programs. CHICAT's courses are centered around design arts, digital arts, and digital fabrication. All programs are free of cost to participants.
The CHICAT Youth Arts Team is looking to recruit students for the fall program (3D Printing), which will run from October 2nd-December 14th.
Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7 pm, but students can arrive at CHICAT (1701 W. 13th St.) as early at 3 pm and will be given the opportunity to watch educational movies, get homework help, and learn chess from an instructor before class.
There will be a mandatory orientation on Saturday, September 23rd from 12-2 pm.
A make-up orientation will be on Thursday, September 28th from 5:30-6:30 pm.

PROMISE: Leading Students 2 Success (LS2S)
LS2S is a cross-age cooperative learning program for students in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, designed to expose underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related experiences as well as introduce them to inquiry and problem-based learning. Through a process of collaboration, discussion, and analytical exploration of mathematical and scientific concepts, LS2S assists students in their academic and social endeavors.
